Woman Drowned Her 93-Year-Old Grandmother, Police Say. But Why Remains Unknown.

A woman in Ohio faces a homicide charge for drowning her 93-year-old grandmother, police said.
But authorities have not released a motive in the case.
Around 6 p.m. on Nov. 15, police in Eaton, Ohio, responded to a home for a reported homicide. There, they found 93-year-old Alice Matheny dead, police said. An autopsy is pending in the case.
Police arrested the victim’s granddaughter, Heidi Matheny, 35, in connection to the case. She was charged with murder, police said.
According to WHIO, Heidi Matheny admitted to police that she drowned her grandmother.
Heidi Matheny was booked into jail and awaits formal charges. Police said there are no other suspects in the case.
