Ohio man confessed to murdering his mother, stabbed her more than 20 times, cops say

A man has been arrested after police say he confessed to killing his mother by stabbing her 20 times.

Around 6 p.m. on Jan. 31, officers were called to the 2900 block of Addison Drive in Grove City, Ohio, for the report of a stabbing, WBNS reported.

Officers found Melissa Graham in the parking lot with multiple stab wounds, according to WBNS.

Graham was taken to Grant Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, WBNS reported.

Officers also found Dorian White, 24, walking with a knife near the crime scene, according to WBNS.

White was taken into custody and police say he confessed to the murder, WBNS reported.

According to court documents obtained by WBNS, White called his mother to bring groceries to his home.

When Graham arrived, White allegedly met her outside, where he maced her and then stabbed her more than 20 times, according to WBNS.

Court documents say White only stopped stabbing his mother because he got tired, WBNS reported.

White has been charged with aggravated murder and is being held at the Franklin County Jail, according to WBNS.
