A woman lured a victim to a robbery that became his murder, authorities said. Now, the woman has been accused of murder.
Around 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 27, 2021, police in Columbus, Ohio responded to a home for a disturbance. When police arrived, they found Tristan Foor, 22, with gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene about an hour later, police said.
Officers at the scene were approached by Elias Malone, 20, who admitted to shooting and killing Foor, police noted.
Investigators determined that Sydney Freshour, 20, lured Food to the scene so she and Malone could rob him, according to police. But, during the robbery Foor was shot and killed.
This week, police announced Freshour turned herself in to police in connection to this case.
Malone was also indicted on charges of murder, tampering with evidence and carrying a concealed weapon. He remains incarcerated in the Franklin County jail.
