88-Year-Old Grandmother Shot Dead On Her Front Porch, Police Said They Arrested A Teen For Her Murder

An 88-year-old woman was found shot to death on her porch and now police said they arrested a teenager in the case.
This week, police in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, announced the arrest of 19-year-old Elijah Emery.
He was charged in connection to the shooting death of Velma Walker, 88, according to KFOR.
Police have not released a motive in the shooting.
Earlier this month, police were called to a home on N.E. 14th Place after family members reported finding Walker, a grandmother, dead, according to the report. She had been shot to death.
Investigators charged Emery with first-degree murder, receiving or concealing stolen property and other counts in connection to the case. He is being held in jail without bond.
