Mother smoked pot with her young children, gave ‘birthday weed’ to 7-year-old, cops say

A mother is facing charges of child neglect after she allegedly gave marijuana to her four children to smoke with her.

Her children are 7, 8, 11 and 13 years old, according to FOX 25.

Letasha Holt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was caught giving her children weed after the children’s father was sent Snapchat videos from his daughter’s account showing her and her siblings smoking pot, FOX 25 reported.

One of the videos allegedly shows the 13-year-old smoking marijuana in the backseat of the family’s car. An adult woman can be heard talking in the background, according to FOX 25.

In another video, investigators say the 7-year-old was smoking in the backseat with the 13 and 11-year-old also in the car, FOX 25 reported.

Police say a third video shows a woman handing the 13-year-old a joint and the girl smoking it in the backseat of the car while the woman is driving, according to FOX 25.

According to court documents obtained by FOX 25, investigators believe the woman in all three videos is Holt, the children’s mother.

Investigators talked to the 7- and 8-year-old children, who said Holt was driving them to the Norman, Oklahoma, swimming pool and had given their sisters weed, FOX 25 reported.

The 7-year-old also told police that Holt had given him pot to smoke on his birthday, according to FOX 25.

The girls were also interviewed and said some kids had asked the two girls to smoke with them, and when they asked their mom, she said it was “OK,” FOX 25 reported.

They also said they smoked weed with their mother in the car, according to FOX 25.
