One Dead, Three Wounded After Shootout at Texas Strip Joint

A shootout between an unruly customer and a security guard at a strip club in Texas ended with one person dead and three others injured, according to authorities.
Around 3:15 a.m. on May 28, a shooting was reported at Temptations Cabaret in Aledo, according to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to the scene and witnesses told them there had been a fight inside the club and a patron was asked to leave.
The customer did leave the building, but had a gun and started shooting at people in the parking lot, injuring three people, officers said.
Armed security at the club returned fire, hitting the shooter, officials said. The suspect later died at a local hospital.
The three people injured in the parking lot shooting were taken to local hospitals and are expected to survive, authorities said.

No names were released. Police said this is an ongoing investigation and no other information is available at this time.
Tarrant County Commissioner Manny Ramirez released a statement saying Temptations has “a clear pattern of dangerous criminal activity,” which includes “multiple homicides, numerous aggravated assaults and dozens of drug related offenses.”
He called for the business to be shut down, saying Temptations “has caused damage to our Tarrant County communities for too long” and “enough is enough.”
