Pastor Who Wrote a Book About Loving Your Wife, Arrested for Having More Than One Wife

A pastor has been arrested for having more than one wife in Florida
Authorities have arrested a pastor from Florida for allegedly having more than one wife. He has also written a book titled “Love Her Like This: Loving Her Has Never Been Deeper,” which discusses relationships and maintaining a marriage. He was arrested after announcing his marriage on social media while he was already married to another woman.

A 62-year-old Florida man, identified as Leslie Williams, was arrested on April 22 in Sumter County, Florida, after a warrant for his arrest was issued earlier in Rockdale County, Georgia. According to local news outlet Villages News, the warrant for Williams' arrest was issued on April 3, three months after he changed his Facebook relationship status.
Williams changed his Facebook relationship status on Dec. 9 last year. At the time, he was already married to another woman. Several commenters responded to the post, congratulating the pastor and sending him well-wishes. However, one of them wrote, “I thought you were already married. Congratulations!”
Villages News reported that Williams was a pastor who ran a ministry in 55+ communities in The Villages, Florida. He was arrested on April 22 at his residence in Sumter County, at Cottonwood Villas in the Village of Tamarind.

He is also the author of a book entitled “Love Her Like This: Loving Her Has Never Been Deeper.” According to the book's description on Amazon, the book aims to address “common issues that arise in a marriage that have the potential to destroy the sacred relationship between a husband and wife.”
Details about the first woman Williams married are not available publicly. The local news outlets also had no details about Williams's first wife. However, Williams posted photos of his recent wife, describing her as “My saved, beautiful and talented wife, Mrs Williams! She’s saved for real, praise God.”
On another post, a different commentator replied saying, “ Sooooo did you just forget that you were married to allegedly six women at the same time.”
According to the online court records, as of April 27th, Williams remains in custody in Sumter County. Williams is being held without bond by the authorities as an out-of-state fugitive. The warrant, which was issued in Williams' name, charges him with bigamy.
