A man allegedly beat another person to death after an argument and now faces a murder charge, prosecutors said.
Aaron Robertson, 33, was already charged with aggravated assault and simple assault, and a charge of third-degree homicide was added this week after an autopsy report, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office.
Around 7 a.m. Sept. 1, police responded to a report of a stabbing on the 500 block of Pearl Street in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Officers spoke with the victim, Brandon Schweers, 36, when they arrived, who told them his body “hurt all over” and he had difficulty breathing, according to prosecutors. Officers saw physical injuries to the victim's head and knee.
Schweers told police Robertson was responsible and that he had pepper spray and a knife, according to the district attorney's office.

Schweers was taken to the hospital by ambulance but died a short time later, officials said.
Robertson admitted to Lancaster police detectives he engaged in a verbal argument with Schweers that turned physical, cops say.
He also allegedly admitted to striking Schweers in the head and taking a knife and pepper spray to the victim’s house.
The homicide charge against Robertson was filed after an autopsy found the cause of death to be multiple traumatic injuries and the manner of death to be homicide.
