Officers recently took into custody Diana Ornelas, 22, who was employed at the Children’s Center of the Stanford Community, in connection with the killing of Oliver Waterfall, 24, The Stanford Daily reported.
“The arrest happened at naptime, and outside of the perimeter of the CCSC [Children’s Center of the Stanford Community] campus. Children were not present when this occurred, and it did not disrupt operations,” CCSC officials wrote in a message to parents.
The daycare facility is a non-profit that employs around 50 staffers and cares for about 200 children.
