From Rhetoric to Action: Putin's New Nuke ‘Red Line' Signals Russia May Be Prepping for WWIII, Expert Warns
Russian President Vladimir Putin has initiated steps towards the potential utilization of nuclear weapons worldwide, according to a Kremlin-endorsed expert.
The revelation came as Putin instructed Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu to conduct exercises aimed at bolstering the readiness of non-strategic nuclear forces for combat operations, according to the Daily Star.
Reports from Russian news sources verified the drills included tactical nuclear armaments.
A spokesperson from the defense ministry also affirmed, "A set of measures will be taken to practice the preparation and use of non-strategic nuclear weapons."
Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, on his Telegram channel, partially blamed the escalation on the UK, suggesting that any deployment of troops to Ukraine could lead to direct involvement of other nations in the ongoing conflict.
Medvedev cautioned that such actions would result in global catastrophe.
