Quadruple Amputee Athlete Who Showed Shooting Skills Online Allegedly Kills Man and Dumps Body in Maryland Yard

The cornhole player was arrested after a man was found dead in Charles County.
A professional cornhole player and quadruple amputee who once only had a 3 per cent chance of survival was arrested after he allegedly shot a man on Radio Station Road in La Plata on March 22.
Dayton James Webber, 27, is the first quadruple amputee in American Cornhole League history and has been previously ranked the 37th-best player in his home state of Maryland. Webber lost all his limbs when he was just 10 months old due to a blood infection.
According to online reports, Webber had previously shared YouTube videos demonstrating how he loads and fires a gun.
Webber was in his Tesla SUV when he shot Wells in the passenger seat.
What Happened?
“At around 10:25 p.m., officers with the La Plata Police Department were flagged down by two people near the area of La Plata Road and Radio Station Road in La Plata,” a statement from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to a preliminary investigation, Webber allegedly shot 27-year-old Bradrick Michael Wells during an argument while Wells was seated in the front passenger seat of a car. Witnesses in the back seat reportedly refused to assist Webber in moving the body and fled the scene.
Police said all occupants of the vehicle knew each other.
Shortly afterward, patrol officers canvassing the area received a 911 call reporting a body in a yard on the 10000 block of Newport Church Road in Charlotte Hall. Responding officers found Wells, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Webber’s Arrest
Detectives obtained an arrest warrant and later located Webber’s vehicle in Charlottesville, Virginia. Authorities found him at a nearby hospital, where he had sought treatment for a medical issue.
“Upon being released from the hospital, Webber was arrested by officers with the Albemarle County Police Department and charged as a fugitive from justice,” the statement said.
Webber is awaiting extradition to Charles County, Maryland, where he is expected to face charges including first-degree murder, second-degree murder, and related offenses.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Did Webber Use a Prosthetic Limb To Shoot?
When asked whether Webber used a prosthetic limb to fire the weapon, a sheriff’s office spokesperson declined to comment.
“If you have any question about his abilities or capabilities, Google search him, and you will see many videos of him showing his abilities,” she told The Independent.
A spokesperson for the American Cornhole League described the case as “an extremely serious matter”.
“Our thoughts are with all those impacted, including the family and loved ones of Bradrick Michael Wells. At this time, this remains an active legal situation. We respect the judicial process and will not comment on specific allegations or details while proceedings are ongoing,” the spokesperson added.
