Halloween has come and gone, but there's still plenty of spookiness around. For some people, the fright might not have been a trick or a treat.

There have been multiple UFO sightings recently, and some people are comparing them to such phenomena recorded on videos that were released by the Pentagon, Knewz.com has learned.

The Pentagon made public videos acknowledging "Unidentified Aerial Phenomena," or UAPs, in 2020 and 2023.

A recently reported sighting of an "Unidentified Flying Object" took place in Hawaii and was shared on the YouTube channel UNIDENTIFIED.

According to The Sun, the video shows an aircraft come into focus and spinning before mysteriously disappearing.

The shocking footage features witnesses shouting in the background.

A man is shown pointing at the aircraft saying, "What is that?"

Some people, however, have suggested that the aircraft was a drone or something of military origin.

Another video posted recently shows a strange object in the skies of Texas. The intriguing video posted to TikTok by @dallastexas_tv shows what appears to be a UFO.

"Did anybody know what that was?" the TikTok account commented on the video.

The video shows a bright white object in the evening sky near the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport. Also, it shows three mysterious dots scatter until there is one left before it moves across the sky.

Some people have compared the recent UFO sightings to the GIMBAL UFO video that the Pentagon released in 2020.

That clip shows a similar metallic orb traveling through the night sky.

However, there are more doubters. People on Reddit's r/UFOs forum said the so-called UFOs acted as if they were merely balloons.

"The thing is, at least the video in this link, they look like balloons. They act like balloons," a user said. "They are doing nothing you’d consider abnormal. They are silver shapes gently floating about."

There was also a sighting in Florida, where another metallic orb is shown flying through a cloudy sky.

"Was it a drone, balloon, or something beyond our understanding? Watch and decide for yourself!" the video is captioned.

The video includes two clips showing a similar object. They also look similar to the objects shown in the Pentagon video.

UFOs have long been a topic of discussion. It just recently became an issue that Congress has been more forthcoming about.

Still, Congress has determined that most sightings could be explained.
