'On Patrol: Live' WANTED: Two Suspects Try To Rob NOLA Gas Station, But Clerk Fights Back With Machete
FrontPageDetectives has an exclusive recap of what millions of TV viewers witnessed on the REELZ police ride-along series, “On Patrol: Live” last weekend.
In case you missed it, the weekend featured a hold-up caught on surveillance video at a gas station in New Orleans. The security camera recorded a pair of “customers” who pull up to the pumps around 11:30 p.m. and headed inside to the convenience store.
But these guys are here for more than just candy and chewing gum.
The clerk behind the glass immediately sensed trouble when she sees one of the suspects reached for something in his waistband. She then pulled out her weapon – which is a machete. After a struggle, the clerk is dragged violently across the floor.
The suspects then headed to the back of the store, grabbed merchandise that appears to be vape pipes or cigarettes and then threatened the clerk one more time indicating that they might be back to kill her.
The clerk tried to fight back, and the suspects pick up the machete. One suspect dropped the weapon, and she ran to the back of the store.
Both suspects were black men in their late teens or early 20s, and one wore an orange sweatshirt. The other wore a dark colored sweatshirt.
If you recognize either of the suspects, please call Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans at1-877-903-STOP (7867).
