Shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 11, officers with the Asheboro Police Department responded to a call about a crash and three people fighting, Randolph News Now reported.

According to police and crash reports obtained by the outlet, David James Alexandro Rosales, 26, allegedly told officers at the scene that he rammed the vehicle twice and assaulted the two occupants — one of whom was reportedly his ex-girlfriend — with a knife.

Police arrested Rosales on multiple charges, including assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, assault on a female, communicating threats, and damage to personal property.
