Rosie O'Donnell's daughter, Chelsea O'Donnell, has been accused of s—-- assault after allegedly touching a man without his consent. The 28-year-old was already on probation after being arrested multiple times in 2024 and is back in custody following the allegation.
The incident occurred in October 2025, when Chelsea was driving a car, and the alleged victim was seated in the rear passenger seat. According to the State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections, Chelsea touched the man's inner thigh and was rejected. Investigators said she did not stop and reached for his genitals despite the refusal.
Officials said when the man once again rejected her advances, Chelsea grew angry and started driving the car erratically, putting both their lives in danger. As a result, her probation was revoked, and she was sent back to prison.
Chelsea’s Struggle with Addiction
Chelsea has had a long struggle with drug addiction, which strained her relationship with her mother.
Court records show Chelsea has had a long struggle with drug addiction, which strained her relationship with her mother. In 2024, she was arrested on three different occasions for possession of methamphetamine, child neglect, possession of narcotic drugs, and bail jumping.
Chelsea O'Donnell pleaded guilty to the crimes and received six years' probation with strict conditions. The terms included complete sobriety, no contact with drug dealers or users, and no possession of alcohol.
Chelsea was also asked to inform the authorities before getting into any romantic or intimate relationships. However, she failed to do so and engaged with at least four s—-- partners between July and September 2025.
Chelsea was adopted by talk show host and comedian Rosie in 1997 when she was a three-month-old infant. After years of tumultuous relationship and Chelsea’s legal troubles, Rosie decided to cut her out of her $80 million estate in April 2025. In retaliation, Chelsea legally changed her last name to her birth mother’s maiden name, Neuens.
