A 24-year-old was shot to death in South Carolina during an altercation and now two people face charges, police said.
On Sept. 13, police responded to a shooting on Staunton Bridge Road. There, they found 24-year-old Ju-Keya Babb shot dead, according to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
The next day police arrested 52-year-old Dione Griffith Dobbs and 26-year-old Jameric Chakkel Brannon in connection to the case.
Investigators say Dobbs and Brannon fired gunshots during an altercation with the victim. Babb was shot and killed.
Police said Babb and at least one suspect knew each other. The shooting was the result of an ongoing dispute.
Dobbs and Brannon were both charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
