Longstanding Grudge Turns Deadly Outside SC Billiards Hall, Two Others Hurt In Shooting

A longstanding beef turned deadly outside of a South Carolina billiards with one person killed and others hurt, authorities.

Now, three people face murder charges.

On Sept. 27, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrests of Vondelta Hakheem Ballenger, Felton Davon Smith and Steven Huntley Currie. All three were charged with murder and a host of other counts.

On Sept. 23, the suspects went to World Cup Billiards in Greenville, South Carolina, where they spotted 23-year-old Treveion Anderson.

Investigators said at least one suspect had a longstanding grudge with the victim.

When the victim spotted the three, he went to his car, according to the sheriff’s office. But he got out of the vehicle, which is when the suspects opened fire.

Anderson was shot along with two people. Anderson and a bullet-riddled vehicle were on the way to the hospital but had to pull over. Paramedics responded to that area and found Anderson dead, according to the sheriff’s office.

The two other injured people were taken to the hospital. Officials said they were shielding other passengers in the car when they were shot.
