A 31-year-old high school secretary in Indiana faces allegations of an inappropriate relationship with two students, including one who is a minor, authorities said. She is married with three children.
Authorities identified the woman as Alicia Hughes. Investigators said Hughes' husband discovered her in bed with an 18-year-old student who attends the same school where she worked.
Hughes was charged with five counts of child seduction under Indiana law, which applies to individuals in positions of trust or authority, such as teachers, guardians, and coaches, who engage in sexual activity with a minor between the ages of 16 and 18.

According to the police, the incident came to light after they responded to a domestic battery call. Hughes' husband confronted her after discovering the alleged relationship and assaulted her. Authorities said the domestic battery allegation is being investigated separately by the Randolph County Sheriff's Department.
During the investigation, authorities said that Hughes was in a relationship with another 17-year-old student. Authorities said that the alleged relationship occurred multiple times.
Authorities said the 17-year-old came forward during the investigation. Hughes was arrested and charged with five counts of sexual misconduct with a student. It remains unclear if she is facing any charges related to the relationship with the 18-year-old.
Hughes's husband has not been identified, and it is yet to be seen whether he will face charges. The husband, according to Law&Crime, filed for divorce and requested emergency custody of the children.
Neal Adams, superintendent of Randolph Easter School Corporation, has refused to comment on whether she will remain employed, but said "she has been removed from all duties with students pending the outcome of legal proceedings."
"Because this is an active criminal investigation, and to protect the privacy of the students and the integrity of the process, RESC will not comment further on specific details," Adams said, according to the New York Post.
In a video obtained by Law&Crime and published on YouTube, Hughes told the officer during interrogation that 'the physical thing' between her and the teenager had been going on since the end of January.
She told investigators, "This is the third time I have been with him," and said she had not engaged in sexual activity with him until he turned 18.
Investigators said Hughes denied having inappropriate contact with any other student. Authorities said she was unaware that the 17-year-old already reported the alleged relationship.
Hughes was booked into Randolph County Jail and is being held on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
