'Scrubs' Co-Executive Producer Accused Of Multiple Rapes In Fake Photo Shoots: Report

An executive producer of “Scrubs” and “Californication” was arrested in Los Angeles in connection to multiple rapes, according to a report.
According to Deadline, Eric Weinberg was arrested on July 14 in connection to a series of rapes between 2012 and 2019. He is being held in jail on $3.2 million bonds.
Weinberg targeted women in their 20s and 30s in grocery stores, coffee shops and other public places, according to the report. He would convince women to participate in a photo shoot.

If the women agreed to have their picture taken, he would then rape them at his home, according to Deadline.
Police say the rapes may have happened dating back to the 1990s. Anyone who might be a victim is asked to contact police.
Weinberg was an executive producer for more than 100 episodes of “Scrubs.” He is a five-time Emmy Award nominee.
