A Florida man has been arrested after he allegedly posed as a security guard at a luxury apartment complex and then snuck into and burglarized homes, according to authorities.

Court records obtained by WPLG show that residents at Wynd27 and Wynd28 apartment complexes in Miami had been complaining about a suspicious man lurking in the complex.

Authorities said Ring doorbell video footage from one apartment at Wynd27 appeared to show Abdoul Jabbar Woodside, 28, going door to door and pulling on the door handles until one would open.

He would then try to get into the apartment, according to police.

One resident told investigators that his wife was cooking when Woodside allegedly came into the apartment and pretended to be a security guard.

Officials said another resident said they were showering on April 7 when they heard a person, who police alleged was Woodside, come inside the apartment.
