A Connecticut man attempted to get away with crimes unsuccessfully 47 times. His 48th attempt was just as unlucky.
According to police, Vincent Jones, 54, was arrested for the 48th time, with the latest coming in connection to a bank robbery that took place in October.
Police say he robbed a TD Bank located at 1643 Post Road in Fairfield, Connecticut on Oct. 10. Police have not released further details about the robbery.
Jones, a convicted felon who has previously been arrested for robbery, burglary, larceny, and drug charges, has been charged with second-degree robbery and fifth-degree larceny in connection to his latest arrest.
According to WTNH, Jones was charged in 2018 in connection to bank robberies at Webster Bank in Orange, a Bank of America in Milford and an attempted bank robbery at KeyBank in East Haven.
Jones was being held on $150,000 and was scheduled to be in court on Jan. 13.
