Man Accused Of Fatal Shooting Of Woman In Kentucky Arrested, Police Say
A man wanted in connection to a shooting in Kentucky was arrested May 14, police say.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office announced that David Slagle, 44, of Lewisburg, was arrested in connection to a shooting on Heltsley Road in Clifty, Kentucky on May 13.
Deputies went to 2110 Duncan Ridge Road, where homeowners told police had gone before daylight May 14. Officers set up a perimeter and order Slagle to come out. After a few moments, Slagle came out and was arrested without incident, police say.
Around 9 a.m. May 13, the Todd County Sheriff's Office requested Kentucky State Police Post 2 to investigate a shooting on Heltsley Road, according to News 40. KSP detectives found a woman, Deborah McGee, 57, of Lewisburg, dead from a gunshot wound on scene.
KSP detectives obtained a warrant for Slagle before arresting him the next day, News 40 reports. He is in custody at the Logan County Detention Center on a murder charge.
