A man in South Carolina faces charges in connection to a double murder, but police have not said what led to the alleged killings.
On July 21, the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina announced the arrest of Ronnie Todd, 42.
Early that same day, deputies responded to North Fraser Street in the Ringel Heights area for a reported shooting. Initially, one person was pronounced dead, and another victim was injured and taken to the hospital.
But both victims died from their injuries. The victims’ names have not been released.
Todd was arrested soon after the incident, but deputies have not released a motive for the double murder.
The suspect now faces two counts of murder and is being held without bond in a South Carolina jail.
