Oklahoma Man Accused Of Killing His Half-Sister After Allegedly Attacking Family With Knife, Police Say

An Oklahoma man was arrested in connection to a stabbing incident that claimed the life of his half-sister and injured his mother and uncle at the home they all shared, authorities said.

Dustin James Blackfeet, 39, was arrested in Oklahoma in connection to the incident, according to media reports.

He is accused of stabbing three relatives during the incident, police said. His half-sister, Andrea, died from her injuries, according to the report. His uncle, Charles Ford, is in serious condition in the hospital. His mom, Belinda Long, was also injured.

Blackfeet was treated for minor self-inflicted injuries, according to KOKI-TV.

The suspect was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and he faces additional federal charges from the FBI for his sister’s homicide since the victim was a tribal citizen, authorities said.

“We have not figured out yet or determined what's happened, or what caused the argument or anything like that,” Bartlesville Police Cpt. Jay Hastings noted.

Blackfeet was booked into the Washington County Detention Center and held on $1 million bond for the assault with a deadly weapon charges, online records show.
