Dallas police arrested a man during a traffic stop who is suspected of committing two murders and multiple robberies, authorities said.
On Nov. 5, officers took Garrett Hamilton, 29, into custody around 1:20 a.m. after he was found driving a car that was reportedly stolen, KDFW reported.
According to police, Hamilton allegedly recently shot Clarence Howard, 48, outside an apartment building in Oak Cliff.
He is also accused of getting out of a vehicle and fatally shooting Lorenz Nussbaum, 47, while the victim was stopped at an intersection on his motorcycle in Cedar Hill on Nov. 2.
Police also believe Hamilton is responsible for multiple robberies in the Dallas area.
Hamilton was being held in the Dallas County jail on $1.8 million bond.
