16-Year-Old Boy Shot, Killed On His Birthday, Fellow Teen Arrested On Murder Charge, Police Say

A 16-year-old was gunned down on his birthday and police say they arrested a fellow teen on a murder charge.
Around 10 p.m. on Sept. 16, Cincinnati police responded to a report of a person shot on Orchard Street.
When police arrived, they found a victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died a short time later, police said.
The victim was identified as Shawn Lewis.
According to WXIX, Lewis had turned 16 years old the day he died.
On Sept. 20, police said they arrested 14-year-old James Long in connection to the case. He was charged with murder, though police have not released a motive in the case.
