Teenage Girl Caught Soliciting Hitman on Spoof Website to Off 7-Year-Old Child

A 17-year-old girl in Iowa is accused of solicitation to commit murder after she allegedly tried to hire a hitman off a fake website, authorities said.

According to police in Storm Lake, the teenager attempted to hire the contract killer around midnight on June 2 to kill a 7-year-old child, KCCI reported.

Authorities said an officer posed as a hitman and contacted the girl after the operator of the parody site, rentahitman.com, tipped them off to the request.

The teenager allegedly provided her intended victim’s name and home address as well as when the purported hitman could find the child at the location, police said.

The suspect was arrested the day after she tried to order the hit, according to officials.
