Woman Allegedly Shot At Vehicle After Altercation Killing One, Now Faces Murder Charge

A woman faces charges after shooting at a car, killing one person, police said.

This week, police in Knoxville, Tennessee, announced the arrest of 21-year-old Kyeisha Dalton.

Around 8 p.m. on July 18, police responded to the University of Tennessee Medical Center to investigate after a person was brought to the emergency room with a gunshot wound. The victim was brought via a personal vehicle, authorities said.

The victim, who has not been named, died from her injuries.

Investigators said Dalton shot at the victim’s vehicle following an altercation.

Dalton was arrested at her home this week. She was booked in to jail on a charge of second-degree murder.
