A Texas woman was arrested after she allegedly sexually assaulted a young boy she was babysitting and threatened to cut off his genitals if he told anyone, according to authorities.
Court records show 41-year-old Charlene Kornegay was booked into the Harris County Jail on April 27.
The assault involving the then-13-year-old boy occurred in July 2021, officials said. The victim first reported the alleged incidents to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in March 2022.
During his interview, the boy claimed he got out of the shower and Kornegay told him to “put on a dress, heels and a bra” before she “had sex with him in her son’s room while her son was asleep,” court documents stated.
The victim also told investigators that Kornegay applied lotion “on his ‘pee pee’” and then performed oral sex on him, officials said. He told Kornegay to stop, but she told him to “shut up and take it like a man,” KTRK reported.
Kornegay is accused of sexually assaulting the child a second time, investigators said. The boy said he was in the bathtub and when he told her to stop, she complied, according to police.

Detectives spoke with the victim’s father, who said Kornegay was his son’s babysitter.
He told police that Kornegay would often tell him that she wanted the victim to come over and “play video games” with her son, according to KTRK.

Kornegay was serving a deferred sentence for a meth possession charge at the time of the assault, police said. She has also been convicted of theft and insurance fraud.
She was charged with aggravated assault and possession of methamphetamine and held on $200,000 bond, officials said.
