Texas dentist invited woman to his home after a night out then rapes her, police say

A Texas woman was out partying with friends and was invited to the home of a Texas dentist where he raped her, according to police.

The victim was in downtown McAllen, Texas, with friends when they ran into Eberechukwu Olaoni Iheanacho, 35, police said and reported by KRGV.

Iheanacho invited the victim and her friends to join him at a strip club and then later to his home, according to authorities.

While at Iheanacho’s home, Ms. Soto said she went to the bathroom to throw up and Ineanacho followed her into the bathroom, authorities said.

The victim stated she was in the bathroom and leaning over when Iheanacho pulled down her pants raped her, according to police. 

Eventually, the victim was moved down to the floor, face down, which left her unable to speak as she tried to stop him, authorities said.

The alleged rape happened on March 17 and KRGV reported that Iheanacho was arrested on April 2. He was charged with sexual assault and released after posting $40,000 bond. 

According to the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, Iheanacho has an active dentistry license.
