A Texas man has been arrested after allegedly trying to pimp out an 8-year-old for hundreds of dollars an hour.
Dorian Frost, 27, was charged with promotion of prostitution of a person under 18 years of age, a first-degree felony, according to the Collin County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies who were working online in an undercover capacity were contacted by Frost in an attempt to prostitute an 8-year-old child in Collin County, Texas.
Frost sought $800 an hour in exchange for providing the child, cops say.
Frost used several methods in an attempt to conceal his identity online, but officers were able to quickly locate him and put him in cuffs, according to the police.
He was arrested at his Grayson County residence and transported to the Collin County Detention Facility, where he is being held on $350,000 bond.
Collin County Sheriff Jim Skinner said in announcing the arrest, “This arrest illustrates how despicable and depraved that those involved in human trafficking are. This case is a prime example of why the Child Exploitation Unit was created. I’m very proud of the combined effort of the CEU and our law enforcement partners for bringing Frost to justice.”
