A 66-year-old man was found dead in a Texas home for an apparent shooting. A week later, police said they arrested a woman in the case.
Last week, police in Lubbock, Texas, announced the arrest of Kassandra Aguayo in connection the killing of 66-year-old Ramon Flores. She was wanted on a murder warrant after the Nov. 11 death.
On the fateful day, police responded to the Lubbock home around 3:45 p.m. for a dead boy. When police arrived, they found Aguayo dead.
According to KAMC, it appeared the victim died from a gunshot to the abdomen.
Police offered a reward in connection to information about the killing. Aguayo was determined to be a suspect and now is being held in a Texas jail.
Authorities have not released a motive in the case.
