Texas Teacher Accused of Sexual Acts With 'Favorite' Students; Allegedly Warned Victim to Keep Quiet or 'It Would Ruin Him'

A Texas elementary school teacher has been charged with repeated s----- assault of a child. Authorities said that they are concerned that there may be more victims. Police have urged anyone with additional information to come forward.

The teacher has been identified as Cecilia Mueller, 46, who works at Lewis Elementary School in San Antonio. She was taken into custody on April 28, following an investigation. According to her arrest report, her crimes came to light through a 20-year-old man.

He told police that he had been in Mueller’s fifth-grade classroom during the 2016-17 school year. He alleged that during that time, he became one of her “favorites.” The teacher allegedly had inappropriate conversations with him about crushes.

According to the man, some students who were part of the group even had lunch with her in a classroom. He claimed that Mueller often showed them explicit music videos, and one time, even a p----------- video. According to him, she played truth or dare and dared students to kiss each other.

The man, whose identity has not been revealed, claimed that Mueller once kissed him in a closet in her classroom and engaged in other s----- acts. He said that after the school year, the abuse ended. However, she told him not to tell anyone, warning that she could get into serious trouble.

She also allegedly told the unnamed victim to contact her when he turned 18. According to the arrest report, Mueller also threatened him, saying that revealing it to anyone would also “ruin him.”

Mueller worked in the Northside Independent School District (NISD). She was a teacher at Lewis Elementary School until June 2019. In August 2019, she transferred to Henderson Elementary School and has been teaching there since.

Following the shocking accusation against her, she has been placed on leave by NISD Employee Relations. District officials told News 4 San Antonio that they are cooperating with authorities as the investigation continues.

Henderson Elementary School principal Lillyana Hinojosa sent a letter to students’ families following the arrest. “I’m reaching out to share some difficult news as part of my commitment to keeping you informed about our school community. I want to let you know that one of our teachers was recently arrested by the San Antonio Police Department,” the letter said.

Hinojosa added, “I understand that hearing this news is deeply unsettling. While I am unable to share specific details regarding the situation, I want to provide you with the assurance that Northside ISD is cooperating fully with the SAPD throughout their investigation. My focus, along with the rest of our staff, remains exactly where it should be; on the safety, well-being, and daily learning of your children.”
