Texas Woman Hurls Racist Slurs at Kids — Then ‘Karma’ Hits Back With a Pink Slip

Texas woman confronts children in viral video at Frisco apartment complex park.
A Texas woman, Ashton Best, was caught on video shouting the N-word and other slurs at a group of 12-year-olds at a park near The Star Apartments in Frisco, Texas.
The confrontation reportedly began when Best approached the children who were using TikTok and told them to stop recording. The children reminded Best that they were in a public space and they could record if they wanted to. This angered Best, who allegedly shouted racist slurs at them.
After the video spread online, many people on social media labeled Best a “racist Karen.” Best has since been fired from her job.
The video of Ashton Best yelling at her neighbors has gone viral.
Ashton Best’s Confrontation
Best allegedly called one of the children a racial slur, prompting the children to contact their mothers about the incident.
When one of the mothers asked Best what she had called her child, Best responded, “I called her a N--,” according to the video.
“It’s on camera you talking to kids like this. You have a demonic attachment on you. It’s in your eyes,” the mother says in the video.
“Get out of here. What are you doing here? Why are you still here?” Best is heard saying in the now-viral clip. “Your kids don’t have daddies! You can’t afford to live here!”
Things heated up further when Best reportedly showed the group that she was carrying a gun, according to WGTC. Although cops arrived at the scene, they did not press charges against Best.
Ashton Best Gets Mixed Reactions on Social Media
Several people called out Best on social media platforms, including Instagram and X. While some said her behavior was “unacceptable,” others asked to see the complete video before passing judgment.
“But do the children have daddies? I like this girl. This is how you stand up. We know those girls were up to no good. We all know it,” one X user wrote in support of Best, while also asking for the full video footage to understand the context.
“Erm ... there’s clearly more to this story than just this snippet,” another user wrote. “Apparently the 12 year old's were kicking her dog through the fence. I believe it,” another user claimed.
However, the majority of social media users criticized Best’s actions.
“This is the time that canceling someone is a good thing. We shouldn't let things like this happen in society,” one person wrote.
“These Karens are so charming. This one is kinda cute in a wine drunk kind of way. I bet she went to SMU or somewhere similar,” another comment read.
“So glad karma found her swiftly,” wrote one individual. “This woman needs psychiatric treatment. If she doesn’t get arrested and forced into treatment she is going to do serious harm.”
Ashton Best Fired From Her Job
Best was reportedly fired from her job at All My Sons Moving and Storage. In a post on Instagram, the company said, “We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for racism, discrimination, or hate speech. We were made aware of a video circulating on social media involving an employee using racist language.”
“This behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect our company’s values. The employee involved has been terminated effective immediately. We remain committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive environment for our employees, customers and the communities we serve,” the statement added.

Ashton Best’s Statement
On the fund-raising platform GiveSendGo, Ashton Best said her life has been turned upside down in ways she never imagined.
“A brief video of an altercation outside my home was posted online and quickly went viral. Unfortunately, the video circulating online only shows a small portion of what actually happened and has created a narrative that does not reflect the full situation,” she says.
“Before that clip began, I was being confronted and verbally harassed outside my own home. Charges are being pursued. I have lost my job of four years. My home address was shared publicly online, which has led to people harassing and threatening both me and members of my family. Due to safety concerns, I have now been forced to leave my apartment before even being able to move in,” she added.
