A man accused of pushing a woman in front of a train following an argument in California was arrested, according to a report.
The Associated Press reports the woman, whose name has not been released, was fatally struck by the train Monday morning in Riverside, California, according to police.
Kevin Errol Lewis, 41, is in jail without bail on suspicion of murder and domestic violence. He also has outstanding warrants for theft and narcotics violations, according to AP.
Riverside police say Lewis and the woman, who were in a relationship, were in an argument next to the railroad tracks and it turned physical. Lewis then pushed the woman in front of the train, which fatally struck her, AP reports.
Police found Lewis near the incident location and arrested him.
Lewis, whom police described as transient, is scheduled to appear in court April 25, according to AP.
