Around 1:15 p.m. on Nov. 11, police said Donald and Ronald Brown shot, stabbed and beat up 24-year-old Armani Allen on a street that was busy and crowded outside the RTS Transit Center.

Donald and Ronald were considered suspects and Ronald was arrested without incident on Nov. 14 at a home in East Rochester, New York, police said.

According to authorities, Donald was in the home also and stayed in the basement until around 5:15 a.m. on Nov. 15 when police executed a search warrant, WHEC reported. The area around the home was shut down for several hours.

Police said both brothers have had multiple prior felony and misdemeanor convictions, including pending felony charges.

During the investigation, officials said they found the brothers had a gun, which could mean additional charges because of their felony charges. However, police said they are not sure if the gun was used in Allen’s murder or not.

Police did not say what led to the alleged assault on Allen.

Both brothers have been charged with second-degree murder and are in police custody, authorities said.
