A man allegedly called ICE on an immigrant mechanic to avoid paying him for the services.

Recently, there have been multiple reports of people misusing ICE’s power for their own gains. In early May, a Dallas man was accused of calling ICE on an immigrant mechanic after having his car repaired. According to the immigrant’s daughter, the man reported her father to agents to avoid paying him.

The video of the incident was posted on X, showing the immigrant being arrested. ICE agents were seen pepper-spraying the handcuffed mechanic and struggling to place him in their vehicle. “This morning at 9:10 AM, Don Brunson called ICE to my house to arrest my father in order to avoid paying him for the work he completed in one of his cars,” the mechanic’s daughter captioned the video.

“ICE arrived and took my father into custody. Please help me share this information with as many people as possible. This video is not published as a political statement, but simply as awareness so that other people are not deceived by this person,” she added. The clip sparked widespread backlash on social media, with several users condemning the man for misusing ICE.
