A man has been arrested after he allegedly shot and killed a woman in Virginia, though few details of the incident have been released.
Norfolk police announced Oct. 7 that Lavon T. Williams, 31, was taken into custody with the help of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, according to WAVY.
The victim was identified as 25-year-old Rikeria D. Bibbins, according to police.
A relative took her to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arriving, cops say. Police have not said what led to the shooting or why Williams was the suspect in the killing.
Williams now faces charges of second-degree murder and use of a firearm.
