Johnson has been charged with eluding police, assault on law enforcement, possession of drugs, transportation of firearm while under a protective order, possession of a firearm with drugs, driving under the influence and driving suspended, authorities said.
Police said the investigation is still pending, so other charges may still be added.
Johnson was booked into the Bedford Adult Detention Center and is being held on no bond, police said.
