Teen Shot And Killed, Another Minor Hurt In Virginia Shooting. Police Say They Arrested A Suspect

A teenager was killed and a minor was hurt in a shooting in Virginia, police said.
This week, the Petersburg Bureau of Police in Virginia announced the arrest of Delvin Mitchell, 19, in connection to the case.
Shortly after noon on July 2, police responded to a home for a person shot. Police arrived and found a 19-year-old woman with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as Toni Knight, according to police.

Officers also found Mitchell, who was shot, along with a minor girl who was injured. Both the girl and Mitchell were taken to the hospital.
The minor was treated and released, police said.
Mitchell has now been charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. No motive has been released in connection to the case.
