Authorities said 53-year-old Dale Lynn Martin got angry with the victim and his girlfriend because they were “eating all the tacos.”

The victims said Martin then allegedly retrieved a .22 semiautomatic rifle from his bedroom, officials said.

The male victim saw the weapon and started running up the staircase, WFTV reported. Martin allegedly fired the rifle, sending a bullet into the staircase.

According to a witness, Martin “called him earlier in the evening” and allegedly said he “just shot at (the victim), don’t think I won’t get the 12 gauge and blow his f****** head off,” according to WFTV.

On Nov. 21, Martin was arrested and charged with attempted murder, officials said.

He was booked into the North Central Regional Jail and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
