Middle School Teacher Used Snapchat To Send Explicit Messages To Minor: Report

A West Virginia middle school teacher is accused of sending sexual images to a high school student, according to a report.
Christopher Tyler Brewster was arrested last week by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with distribution and display to a minor of obscene material.
In early April, a witness reported to police they had social media material towards a high school student, according to a criminal complaint obtained by WCHS.
An investigator got digital records of a Snapchat conversation between the student and Brewster, according to the report.

The conversation was sexual in nature, with images sent from Brewster to the student, according to WCHS. The messages dated to December 2021 and continued to the end of February.
Brewster worked in Logan County School and was a substitute teacher at a middle school, according to WCHS. An official told the TV station that Brewster resigned his position before he was arrested.
He has been released on bond.
