A bar fight in Wisconsin ended with a shooting and two women arrested, according to authorities.
Around 11 p.m. on Feb. 8, Jamie Payton, 39, and Olivia Abarca, 34, got into an argument with a bartender, police in Janesville said.
When the dispute between the women and the bartender escalated into a physical disturbance, staff escorted the two women out of the bar.
At the same time, an off-duty police officer passing by the scene heard gunshots ring out in the parking lot and saw two women run into a nearby apartment, authorities said.
Multiple shell casings were recovered from outside the bar.
After detectives searched the apartment the women ran into and allegedly found a gun, THC and drug paraphernalia located in an area two children had access to, they placed Payton and Abarca under arrest.
