A woman wearing a shower cap hacked a man to death on the streets of Brooklyn after they got into an argument. The incident occurred on April 14 when a clash broke out, according to authorities and sources cited by the New York Post.
The suspect allegedly fled the scene immediately after the stabbing incident.
A 38-year-old man was killed during the confrontation. The victim has been identified as Terrence Smith, who was stabbed in the stomach by a woman wearing a shower cap. The incident occurred at around 11 p.m. on April 14, in front of a building in Crown Heights, located on Eastern Parkway near Utica Avenue. The building houses a pediatric office on the ground floor and a dental practice above, according to authorities.
After the incident occurred, the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital by first responders. Authorities transported Smith to Kings County Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead.
According to law enforcement sources, the woman accused of fatally stabbing Smith was wearing all black and donning a shower cap, as reported by witnesses. The suspect fled the scene immediately after the stabbing occurred.
Authorities said the relationship between the woman and Smith was not immediately clear. It has not been disclosed whether there was a specific motive behind the incident. However, preliminary reports suggest the attack may have resulted from a street altercation, according to the New York Post.
The motive for the deadly stabbing remains under investigation as of April 15. More details are yet to be made public by the investigators. Because this is an ongoing investigation, authorities have not disclosed the suspect's identity or whereabouts.
In yet another tragic incident, a student at a school in Florida allegedly went on a stabbing spree, injuring two students and a paraprofessional, according to authorities. A seventh-grade student of fourth grade allegedly went on a stabbing spree and allegedly injured three people at a middle school.
The incident occurred during morning hours on campus, when the student was dropped off early. The student allegedly stabbed the first peer he encountered in the hallway multiple times before running down the hall and attacking an adult female paraprofessional. He then attacked another student, officials said. That rampage lasted about 45 seconds.
