She Struck Her Husband In The Head With A Sword Several Times, Police Say. Now, She's Behind Bars.

A 58-year-old Iowa woman who police say struck her husband in the head multiple times with a sword is behind bars.
Kim Renee Cannon, of Hawkeye, Indiana, was arrested on Jan. 18 after police responded to a home on P Avenue for the report of a domestic assault at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Fayette County Sheriff's Office personnel and first responders found a 70-year-old man with several severe cuts to his head.
Police determined that the incident was the result of a verbal argument between the husband and wife.
Cannon has been charged with attempted murder in connection to the incident, while the victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to KCRG
