Husband of missing coffee shop owner reveals a crucial detail
Amy Hillyard, co-owner of the Farley’s Coffee chain in San Francisco, has been missing for close to a month. The 52-year-old San Francisco Bay Area resident was last seen after March 25, when she was walking her dog near the 500 block of Radnor Road in Oakland. According to reports, she was wearing a tan-colored top and pants at the time of her disappearance.
Her husband, Chris Hillyard, said he received his wife’s last message on the same day she went missing.
Missing Woman’s Husband Reveals Shocking Last Message
Speaking to media, Chris Hillyard said that on the day his wife went missing, she had visited a therapist. Amy Hillyard confirmed she had returned home by 1:40 p.m. by sending him a text message.
Surveillance footage from the area showed that after returning home, Amy Hillyard took out their dog for a walk and spoke with a neighbor.
When Chris returned home at 3:15 p.m., Amy was nowhere to be found. All her valuables were still on the kitchen counter, including her cellphone, keys and other personal belongings. He also noticed that the back door of their house was left ajar.

The Hillyard family has grown increasingly anxious as Amy Hillyard’s disappearance nears the one-month mark. On April 13, they offered a $10,000 reward for information about the case.
Chris Hillyard said in a recent statement, “We truly believe someone out there has seen Amy, may know where she is, or has information that could help bring her home. Despite the tireless efforts of hundreds of volunteers over the past two weeks, we are still searching for answers.”

Police Investigation Rules Out Chances Of Foul Play
The Oakland Police Department is currently investigating the disappearance of Amy Hillyard. Volunteers have been deployed to help find the woman. As of Friday, the department said it had renewed efforts to locate the co-owner of Farley’s Coffee.
New flyers with details about Amy Hillyard have been distributed across nearby areas. They include updated information about the reward offered by the Hillyard family.
Police said there is no evidence of abduction, kidnapping or any other crime associated with her disappearance.
So far, investigators have searched the area, including Skyline Gate, a large hiking area. Despite hours of searching, Amy Hillyard has not been located. According to the Hillyard family, it was one of her favorite places to walk.
Meanwhile, Chris Hillyard and the couple’s two daughters remain hopeful she will be reunited with them. Chris Hillyard said in a statement, “Amy is precious to me, to her daughters, to her family and friends. She has always been there for others, and we are filled with gratitude that the community is there for her now, doing all it can to bring Amy home.”
