Authorities in Ohio said they arrested a man two times within four hours for allegedly operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Tyson Conway, 38, was taken into custody the first time around 12:30 p.m. when police in Sandusky received a report about an intoxicated man with a child at a park, WJW reported.

When responding officers arrived, they said they found Conway behind the wheel of a vehicle backing out of a parking spot.

According to WJW, a minor and a woman were passengers in the vehicle at the time.

Police claimed they smelled what they believe was alcohol coming from the vehicle, and Conway allegedly told them he had around five shots that day.

Officers took Conway into custody after conducting a field sobriety test and alleged he was later found to have twice the legal limit after he provided a breath sample.

Police charged Conway with OVI and endangering children. They also suspended his license, and then released him to a sober party, according to WJW.

Within four hours, officers were called to an apartment building after Conway, who allegedly was still intoxicated, attempted to take his child, police said.

Officers said they located him around two miles from the residence and arrested him for the second time for driving under the influence after he allegedly provided a breath sample and was again found to be over the legal limit.

Officers had Conway’s vehicle towed, and he was booked into the Erie County jail.
