Man Buried His Dad's Poodle, Then Laughed About It As He Told Police: Report

A man buried his father’s poodle in the yard and then kept laughing as he told police about his deed, according to a report.

This week, police in Clearwater, Florida, arrested Tyler Crevasse on a charge of animal cruelty, according to Fox 35. He was also charged with domestic violence.

On May 15, police were called to a home to investigate a domestic battery incident, according to the report.

Officers said Crevasse admitted to killing his father’s dog and burying it in the backyard, according to Fox 35. The dog was an 18-year-old poodle-mix named “Fuzzy.”

When Crevasse’s father confronted him about the incident, the suspect hit his dad twice in the nose, according to Fox 35.

Crevasse told police he killed Fuzzy two days earlier and wrapped the dog in a wet towel, according to the report. He then buried the dog where another dog had already dug a 2-foot-deep hole in the yard.

Crevasse said he buried the dog because the animal was old and he thought it was already dying, according to the report. Crevasse also kept laughing while telling police about his alleged crime.

Police arrested Crevasse and he was booked into jail, where he is being held on $10,000 bond.
