Indiana Man Caught Having Sex With Family Dog on Couch Threatened to Kill Mom If She Called Cops, Police Say

A man in Indiana has been arrested after he was allegedly caught having sex with the family dog and then threatened his mom’s life if she reported him, according to authorities.

In March 2022, a woman in Elkhart reportedly caught her son, 20-year-old Blake Reffett, with his pants down while he was having sex with her dog that was pinned on the couch, The Elkhart Truth reported.

After getting caught, Reffett allegedly brandished a hammer and threatened to kill his mother and burn her body if she called police, authorities said.

In June 2022, police executed a search warrant and during the search, officers heard Reffett mention taking a hit out on his mother, according to The Elkhart Truth.

Officers allegedly found blood and red marks on the dog. A veterinarian later confirmed the dog had suffered trauma, The Elkhart Truth reported.

Reffett was arrested last month and charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon and bestiality, according to authorities. His bond was set at $50,000.
