An elderly man is accused of raping a woman at the nursing home where both lived, police say.
Raymond Keown, 87, was charged with first-degree rape by police in Bowling Green, Kentucky, this week.
Police say that the victim was not capable of consenting and was injured during the alleged assault, which happened in a nursing home in the town, according to WYMT.
Keown and his attorney Alan Simpson entered a not guilty plea in association with the crime on Wednesday. They appeared virtually in Judge John Brown’s courtroom for the hearing, WKBO reported.
Brown set a preliminary hearing date for the case on March 19th at 9 a.m.
Until the case is resolved, Keown is not allowed at any senior living facility without the court’s permission.
